Filemaker Pro
« on: February 11, 2011, 12:35:41 PM »
I am trying to set this up to access my Filemaker Databases but I can't add the database as a profile. After selecting the file I am asked for a username and password (which I don't normally use). I keep getting the following error message:

SQLSTATE:
Native Error Code:0
Driver Message:=' '

I have even added a new user account with full access privileges and still can't get past this error.

Can anyone help?

Could you please let us know which FileMaker Pro version you are using?

For File Maker Pro 8.5 :

Software needs "DataDirect SequeLink 5.5 Client for ODBC" driver. This driver should be
installed on your PC.  Please check if it available in installation CD of FileMaker Pro. This driver should be install manually on your PC from FileMaker Pro Installation CD.

Once you install above driver, Please open your database in FileMaker
and Configure your database to "Share via ODBC".

You can do it  by opening the shared database in FileMaker and turn on
ODBC access for that specific database using Edit->Sharing->ODBC/JDBC.

After above settings, use "File based database" option in desktop side
Cellica Database software to select your File maker pro database.

try to use the software.

Please let us know if you have any question.
