Autonumber data type
« on: September 21, 2011, 04:37:48 PM »
Microsoft Access databases support the use of AutoNumber field type. When I add a Profile that is a table with an AutoNumber field type, Cellica shows it as SQL_Integer data type.

Is there a way to use the AutoNumber functionality of Access in Cellica?

Cellica Supports AutoNumber, Just add that column on the form, it will generate AutoNumber for it on next sync.

I noticed in the user manual that Cellica supports AutoNumber, but can you please tell me how I go about actually adding an AutoNumber column to a form.
I've tried many ways and none seem to work.
Is there a property I need to set somewhere on the form or control?

Thanks

You have to just map "Auto Number" column to particular "Text Box" control.

When you will add new record on iPhone, it will generate random number in Text Box control.

On next sync with desktop, this record will get add to desktop database and get actual auto number to device.
